Willow Run Airport, one of America's great air freight hubs, is highlighted in this fanciful, retro-style poster illustrated by Chris Bidlack. A tribute to the freighter era at YIP, the composition portrays a stylized Lockheed Electra freighter, once a common sight at Willow Run. The original airport runway arrangement is depicted below, along with an emblem reading, "Smart Plant Managers Ship by Air." Although fictitious, this "faux-stalgia" poster makes a perfect gift for anyone, current or retired, who ever worked freight at Willow Run.
